Trick Dog Class

Trick Dog Class

Trick Dog is a Group Class where your dog can learn fun new tricks, earn ribbons and titles, and possibly even compete! They will learn tricks from both American Kennel Club (AKC) and Do More With Your Dog trick lists. This class meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday at 6:00 PM at our facility.

  • Hangout with Hanna is a free supervised study session with Hanna for any client that is enrolled in a membership program (Group Class Membership, Private Lesson Membership, Dayschool membership).

  • Come with specific things to work on, I can assign things to work on, or practice neutrality and doing nothing around distractions!

  • We meet on the first Sunday of each month at 10:30-11:30 AM at Bear Creek Park (near the sand volleyball)

  • We recommend bringing high value rewards, favorite toy, place bed, and training tools and long line)

Man Trailing

Man Trailing is a really fun sport that is great for any age, breed, or size of dog to try! We teach the dog to target a specific scent article that someone dropped, and then use that scent to go search for them. Every dog knows how to use their nose already, and this is a low stress and low impact way of fulfilling their need to hunt, search and sniff!

WAHCA Pack Walks & Events

These events are for Previous and Current Clients only. These are training events so please come prepared with training tools, high value rewards and favorite toys, and always give space between dogs.

Paws & Paddles

Wild at Heart and Tail Swaggers are teaming up for the first paddleboarding event of the season!

Grab your swimsuit, some sunscreen and meet us at DFW Surf Grapevine on June 20th at 10:00-12:00 PM!

What to bring: training tools, towel, water-proof bag/fanny pack/treat bag to hold your things. I also recommend a flat collar to help get your dog back on the board if they go swimming. E-collars and their remotes are able to go in water as long as the charging port is closed.

Join us for our upcoming pack walk! Sunday, June 28 at 9:30 AM

We'll begin with a loop 🐾 around the park and then stop by the splash pad πŸ’¦ on our way back. This is a great opportunity to practice obedience and engagement around real-world distractions while enjoying time with the group.
